208Y/120V three-phase gives you 208V for medium equipment and 120V for general circuits from the same service — common in retail, office and small commercial. 480Y/277V is used for larger industrial motors and 277V lighting and is more efficient at higher loads. Many facilities use 480V service with a transformer stepping down to 208Y/120V. We help you choose based on your equipment.

If the utility can provide three-phase at your location, yes — we design and install the service and coordinate it with SCE. If utility three-phase isn't available or is cost-prohibitive (common on rural sites), we can install a rotary phase converter or VFD to generate three-phase on-site for your equipment.
